Yemen - A Brief History of the Conflict
Some say a longer term peace agreement could be on the horizon. The coming weeks will be a test of the party's commitment to uphold their obligations. This is a time to build trust and confidence, which is not easy after more than seven years of conflict. It has become an absolute humanitarian disaster over the past seven years. Around 17 million yemns don't get enough to eat. Three quarters of the population relies on aid to survive. There are fuel shortages in the north.
