The History of Santa Maria

Santa Maria is recognized as the first permanent European settlement on the American continents. When Nucusa heard of the colony at Santa Maria, he was reportedly furious that Oheda's men had crossed into his territory. The colonists voted in CISO out of power, electing Balboa and a man named Martín Zamudio as their new leaders. Some even suggested finding the Cusus and joining forces with him.
