'The untold story of the war on terror is something that i have a great ambition to tell, but like, frankly, don't have the chops right now for,' he says. 'This also leads to an under appreciated historical circumstance, which is creation, for the first time, of an enduring pre e for the united states military on the african continent.' He adds: 'It's viewed as not a new war or new front in the war. Its viewed as something that generals get to decide for themselves... And then also because of managing the barbaric perifer'.
