Do You Want Health Checks in Cubernetes?

If you're deploying to cubernetes or any other sort of like managed system, you want some sort of health checks in there too. For a simple web service, you can always connect to the root of the servie and see if it's responding with a minimal effort. But for more sophisticated systems such as cubenetes that are going to be used by people who will use them all the time, they should have their own set of defaults.
