The Importance of Law and Order in a Country
In El Salvador, they've lowered homicides by 92 percent extortion demands down 40 to 70 percent. Because of that, 44 percent fewer Salvadorians are leaving their nation. On the other hand, we see San Francisco and that example where frankly, and I think by all reasonable measure, they do not have law and order. They're actually protecting drug pushers who are feeding death and despair into their citizens. And there's a very clear message: You can kill some people and do it because the Americans just don't care. The rise or decline of a nation in its cities is largely a choice.
