Rishi Sunak is selling himself as this sort of man of competence and getting stuff done. But instead of actually processing the asylum claims, you've gotsort of thousands of people living in hotels. They're promising that at some point people will be able to come if there are safe and legal routes to legitimately claim asylum in this country. There's a massive poll in the policy, which hasn't been thought through. I don't understand this. The more money governments spend on spin doctors and PR advisors and media experts in quotes, the more appalling the result is. You know, they're just not very good at it.
