The Divorce of a Teenager
Tui's final year was full on due to a grandparent passing away and her parents splitting up. She did a best to keep on track but it was her good grades in her previous year that saw her scrape through and get a university entrance. Now when she looks back she can see that a lot of her decisions in her younger years were about facilitating travel and experiences. Her grandfather had left Tui and each of her cousins $10,000 so she applied to a gap scheme and was accepted. This money was then used to fund her gap year in the UK.
