When we are on a calorie restricted diet, we can use palatability as a modifiable variable to set us up for success. We want our meals to be palatable enough to be enjoyable, but not so palatable that the end of the meal is a tragic event. If you're struggling with hunger and appetite management, introducing more hyper palatable foods, even if they fit your macros, is probably not the best strategy for you.
