The Bank of England's Inflation Outlook
The most recent inflation reading was pretty positive you know it's at 7.9 percent um that the problem is that the core inflation which is essentially everything but kind of they're things that move so food energy food our cold tobacco that sort of thing is really what they call sticky. The bank basically thinks consumers have too much money to spend so they obviously ramp up the price borrowing. But people have got more in their savings because they were locked up locked in their houses for two years and government help like the energy price guarantee scheme have also helped to offset the impact of inflation on consumers.
