There were no metrics to tie a step up in nutrition to anyone's job. Colleges were a systemically bad customer, he says. No amount of tweaking would get the problem of athlete nutrition solved without massive systemic changes. If you aren't getting faster at getting customers to speak with you, there's definitely an issue and it could be systemic.
