The 10th Best Passer in the NBA?

This is a project i've been looking at as part of work i've done in film studies. Let's start by comparing two candidates i looked at here, because i think they introduce some of the philosophical challenges. One is cire irving, and the other is joe ingles. And the challenge for me is that irving creates more open passing opportunities. His height allows him to see over the top. He has a better field for finding certain open paint passes or high value lay up passes. I don't think of irving as a great passer.
