The Role of Type 1 Fibers in Hypertrophy

The traditional BFR protocol that has been validated to produce very similar hypertrophy to traditional training is doing a set of 30 to 40, somewhere with 20 to 40% of 1RM. But in the two groups where we saw either nothing or we saw exactly the opposite, they were untrained individuals and they were going to failure. So I think this is really intriguing and it does deserve a little more research.
