The Importance of Shame
Pam was battered and bruised, missing a patch of hair which had been forcibly pulled out of her skull. She described him as possibly late 20s with dark hair and a dark beard on July 25th. Darlene left him two weeks later after she found the earring in the hair. So I think something in his brain is telling him like, this is wrong and he feels shame, but he knows he's not going to stop. That's what I feel like. He just covers their face so he can make it more of like an experience for him.
