Is the Pushback a Misunderstanding of What You're Saying?

Some members of the church think it's very important to counter the messages of your the just by who you are. So they want to emphasize the sinner identity so that people don't try to earn their salvation. And i would say reactive theology is never sound theology. For me to stay true to scripture, i believe i have to teach a message that says that christ made us saints and that fundamentally changes how we live out our salvation.
