The Culture War and American Politics

This is my attempt to a grapple with the culture war and with the state of american and western politics. So, you know, after occupy wall street, after burney sanders, after donald tromp, were still not there. And i noticed that pretty much threw off the whole pattern. For most of America's history, it was essentially the cycles of elete struggle or class strouggle. But then something happens right around the post war era, where the cleavages begin to shift from political economy towards intangible, more intangible, social ord cultural cleavages.
