Paleolithic dog is distinguishable from gray wolves and plistecine wolves. It has been proposed that maybe humans were making attempts to domesticate dogs back then, even though the morphological differences do not necessarily resemble the ones we expect to see. A discovery made of dog remains that date to over 14 thousand years ago near bonn in the north rhine westphalia state of modern germany, is significant. The dog was deliberately buried with two humans. Due to all these facts, the dog shows distinct physical characteristics that resemble domestic dogs more than wolves.
