The Roughness of Manliness

When someone is rugged, they look kind of manly kind of rough. I also believe that this word has an attractive quality to it as well. A guy can can look aggressive and tough, but not attracted, you know, so I guess. And if something is cuddly, they have that look, they just look like they want to be hugged and cuddled.
