The Life and Times of Jim Steinman
From 1993 to 1996, Steinman scored at least one top 40 hit as a writer or producer. For Nicki French, Stock and Aiken produced a high-energy dance cover of Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart that was a smash around the world in 1994 and 1995. They were two-thirds of Britain's phenomenally successful Stock Aiken Watermen production team.
