The Dilemma of Caesar
There's more nuance involved here is that. Caesar basically had two choices because I mean he actually didn't actually have the entire division within any of his legions on the Italian side of the Alps. And so he's wintering with a couple of legions on the Italians are the Alps and eventually there's a standoff Caesar and his veterans want land because they fought for the Republic. Meanwhile there are people in Rome who want to prosecute him for his misbehaviors in Italy. But Caesar basically wins by the skin of his teeth let's just say that but he does prevail.
