The History of the British Empire
In recent months, there's been a renewed debate over the British empire. It strikes me that essentially the Marxist slash ultra woke critique of the empire is falling apart now. Over the 500 years of the British Empire, which covered a culture or so of the world's land surface, things were going right in vast majority of places. And that's something I think that historians are picking up on and we are seeing in lots of really impressive research papers and books by many Indian academics including people whose heritage is not British.
