"I came into this sort of sideways manner. I went to theater school and have a bathroom of fine arts and acting," he says. "Being a professional artist is a lot of work, just like being a professional business of any other kind." He recommends using the 50-50 rule: 50% of your time should be spent creating art; 40% on marketing yourself.
