How Important Is the Debrief?

The debrief process is really, really critical. We try and permit about half the time of any given scenario for debrief. It's meant to create a safe space where the person doesn't feel judged,. Where they can expose vulnerability, where perhaps emotion comes out. Sometimes we simulate a negative outcome so that they can sort of deal with those things.
