Love, a History

Love is the rapture we feel for those who inspire in us the hope of an indestructible grounding for our life. We are, i think, waging the wrong god wars. Have we yet asked how much damage love as religion is doing to human flourishing? I suggest that we have barely begun to ask these questions. As importantly, the war itself is regarded as legitimate by all parties to it.
