There was no problem in the family on that my grandparents had no problem there was also a huge respect for girls and women's status in the family and education. of course it was very patriarchal because the women were not counted but it just showed the long lineage of lawyers in the family so there was all of that, she says. "All of these things stay with you and you realize the value of that has come to you through a trajectory so it's a humbling experience"
She began as a journalist in the pursuit of truth. She went on to embrace activism in the pursuit of justice.
