College football is never going to have the calibre of play of the national football league. But what college football does have is army running the triple option and carrying the ball 90 % of its plays throughout a game. Or even, you know, washington state throwing the ball 60 times a game under mikhel each. I think that it's a charming part of the sport, but it certainly can lead to some fascinating box scores.
