"Orson Wells rewrote all his scenes. He came on the set with very heavy makeup, more like a technical makeup," she says. "I felt really put in my place." But then when we came to one golden pond, Kate Hepburn, just wears a bit of lipsticks,. She got a lovely skin and we'd been shooting for two or three weeks before Jane arrived".
