The Importance of Song Lyrics in a Star Wars Film

Do you think the times come where you could have song lyrics or contemporary songs in a Star Wars film? That would be a massive step, wouldn't it? The recut trailer is awesome. It makes it feel much more exciting, but it still feels like, God, this looks just very boring and very formulaic. Ready Player One is one of those books that has been so universally recommended to me that I feel my wall of resistance has gone up over it.
