The Importance of Breakfast in Dublin
Mr. Bloom is a Jew and has to dress in black for the funeral of Paddy Dignum today. As he leaves the house, he realizes that the key to the door is in his other pair of trousers. He's not any better a Jew than Stephen is a Catholic so he goes out to get a pork kidney. A Jewish butcher named Delugach shows him an advertisement for a Zionist project. Mr. Bloom thinks about Palestine as Odysseus thought about Ithaca. The book ends with Mrs. Marion Bloom calling her husband "Poldy"
