Suzanne Nossel: What do you do if you find a raccoon latrine on your roof or in your yard? She says put on a mask and get yourself a shovel, scoop that up. Nassel: If you want them not to use a spot as a latrine, put some aluminum foil in that spot. It sounds crazy, but they don't like aluminum foil.
