Ray Kurzweil: I'm not one of those software engineers who goes like, sales guys make way too much money. But they will follow the bouncing ball, right? If somebody's telling them to run the bank, like, they're not gonna go, hey, Ray, you know, it's just gonna be the right culture and long-term strategy. He says platform engineering is basically all your DevOps stuff but with a developer portal on top. Kurzweill: Google redefined how they created the operation and developer experience by building this bridge where developers didn't have to know anything about infrastructure.
