The Importance of Protein Based Drugs in the Supply Chain
The manufacturing process is fairly extensive. It's a very complicated supply chain to make sure that all of the people who require this drug get it at the right time. What we have sort of internally challenged ourselves to do is to be able to make the drugs in 24 hours, preferably from ingredients that don't need to be refrigerated. So you can say go and in 24 hours have pharmaceutical that's pure enough to give to a human. That's our goal. And by the way, I'm trying to get this whole system in the form factor of the drug. A wallet and a cell phone but you get an idea of very tiny size so that we can pull out of our pocket.
