The Importance of Commitment in Comedy

I think sometimes we get stuck in that vibe, right? You know, how do we branch out? How do we actually put the paper? And those cliche jokes can get in a way, right? Because they can feel like a crutch. We're leaning on not to reveal too much or not because we don't have a scene figured out yet. But it doesn't mean we should challenge ourselves to do more. There's a lot of comedy that is half-assed because the people who are creating it aren't fully committing to the bit. They're kind of holding themselves back and almost winking at the camera of like, I'm saying I'm not even fully trying.
