1. Places that I lived while teaching at international schools were not always nice. We were in Egypt just 1 year after the Arabian spring. But people in theses places made it worth
2. I can see a growing interest in relationships and empathy. Relationships over tasks completion and people over things
3. Schools are an ancient, ancient machine. It’s easy to do things the way the have always been done. The next steps for change is people and if you don’t listen to them, there will be no change.
4. We lost the ability to be bored. We ask the students to put their phones away but take our devices while we are at meetings. It’s hypocritical.
5. Curating social media channels is a good way to connect social media with education.
6. Content and relationships for me are the same, because we learn through collaboration. Content can be delivered through collaboration
