Is There a Viable Form of Nationalism?

I think it is very important for the Western world that America remain a strong and resilient and self-confident nation. I do believe that fundamentally, you know, independent of how we conceptualize ourselves, patriotically, I do view us as an extension of a larger American civilization. So I sometimes use the phrase like that it's kind of it's culturalism more than nationalism, right? It's a boot forming identity based on a cultural identity and an appreciation for a culture that presently exists.
