How to Get Rid of a 72 Month Auto Loan
E. Littles: I have a 72 month auto loan at 4.9% rate. The monthly payment is about 10% of my monthly income. This is slightly outside of our 23 eight car rule. My advice, not knowing anything more about your situation would be seriously consider getting rid of this car and trying to go buy something that does fall into that 23 eight straight. If you're going to try to compress that timeline in half, even if you're trying to get it inside a three years, that's awful.
