Why the Blackwall Tunnel Has Abandoned It
I don't approve of political jokes, I've seen too many elected. But there are some funny facts about why the Blackwall tunnel has abandoned it. The traffic we now have in our tunnels is very different to the traffic for which the tunnels were first designed during the Victorian times. There's a curve and bends to avoid horses bolting because they can see light so well. So when you use some,. when you go through some of our tunnels in London, you can always tell the ones that the old Victorian ones, because there’s a bend on them.
