The Role of Mechanical Tension in Muscle Growth
The two criteria that we would need to meet will be a high level of motor agreement, as you were just saying, at the same time as a sufficiently kind of high level of mechanical tension. The next step along is to say, well, can we actually sort of connect that sort of dosage and mechanical tension that the muscle fibers across the muscle are experiencing with the high pertrophy? Or in the rodent literature, what we find is that when we're using maximal levels of protein and acumen using electrical stimulation, that force time integral is nicely kind of associated with long term hypertrophy.
