Elizabeth's Letter to Henry III
I was really sad, actually, when I finished writing my book because I and my book with Catherine's death. And obviously, when Catherine dies, Elizabeth and Catherine hadn't really spoke to exchange letters for a long time. But what really was striking for me was Elizabeth's letter to Henry III when his mother died. What is weird about this letter is that she crossed lots of things in the letter but you can still read what she was saying about Catherine. She's so respectful and she really recognized Catherine's political greatness. There's no other words to say that. The power and her influence diminished greatly during those years.
