Grit is a four-letter word that people sometimes think it's sexy. When I look at you, you're the epitome of what grit is. And so how do you create and foster grit in a situation? From what I hear from you, most of the grit that you got was from adversity. How do you create adversity for kids? Man, I'm going to first say this. My wife will look at me and say, you look really mad. She always says, you got the mimp. But because I wake up sometimes, not pissed off,. I'm like, let's go. Like hit the ground. ... That's where that grit comes from.
