In the developed capitalist world, there's been this enormous economic upswing. But when we turn to the underdeveloped world, we see an entirely different situation. The gap between the standards of living or the population and that of the West is enormously expanded two or three times. We have a situation where the impirless of the West, because of the revolt on the part of the colonial peoples, they attempt to get away from the bonds of foreign oppression. They've been compelled so far as direct domination in Africa, in Asia, and in Latin America, are concerned.
