Business Leaders Need to Step Up
The Davos thesis is that the business leaders need to do what the governments won't do or something. The problem they ran into, especially if you're an asset manager or a financial institution,. You're not just a fiduciary where a corporate director is to a shareholder. It means you're squatting on someone else's cash like their capital. They have to say it's about law run value maximization when that's a farce. We have this bastardized version of social discourse that has to joust in the language of value maximization When that wasn't even what it was about.
