The Self: A Time Machine
I don't think there is a stopping. Suicide maybe. Well, even that we can talk about death if you'd like. I'm really interested in that too. But one of the things I talk about I think is most interesting about the self is that it functions as a time machine. It allows a sense of self to exist prior to your physical existence when you think about your ancestors or people that you think of as your lineage or your community prior to your existence. That's meaningful to people. And you can project yourself into the future beyond your physical self. You can think about the communities that exist over the kenny will outlive you and feel as if you will have some type
