The Pre-Hospital Telestroke Evaluation

The Wellington Free Ambulance Corps were trained to assist with the pre-hospital telestroke exam. The assessment was done in person by both emergency room staff and neurologists. Some of the assessments were done with paramedics who were probably a bit unfamiliar with the techniques. It wasn't too hard to teach them these sorts of things on the spot, but on those occasions, Rias skill almost certainly helps the assessment a lot.
