The Colosseum of Memnon, a Sorcerer's Apprentice
The story of the colossi of memnon begins with a visit to an oracle statue in Egypt. The man who first met the statue says it spoke to him, but he can't tell if it said anything else. He then meets another ancient sorcerer and learns that his friend was right about the statue being fake. It's not clear what happens next as they walk down the path together.
