I don't even know what it would be like to have to think every time you get on on a bus or a plane and then my life is int dangerous. It's really just about as ethics always has been historically. It's about sort of how human beings can live the best kind of life. If you're committed to a vague notion of minimizing suffering, then the position boils down to something like, whenever you have the opportunity to prevent or, ah, not inflict suffering
