The Pitfalls of Analyst-Driven Intelligence
The third pitfall would be what we call event driven intelligence. That's this kind of reactive ad hoc posture where the threat intelligence team is really reacting to breaking news and headlines rather than thinking about the impact for an organization. So actually, we want to be agile to breaking news. We want to leverage the expertise of our analysts. And that might include expertise in their pet interests. But we still need that overarching direction.
