God Is the Reward, God Isn't a Mean to an End
In Genesis chapter 15, Abram is told by god that he must have a child to inherit his estate. Since abram has no children, an adopted son named eleezer will be their heir. In the book of genesis, God tells us that he is ourre he is the one that our heart longs for. We don't use god to have a good career or peace in our life; we use him because he's the end and not the means.
