In the original Resident Evil 4, every single gun automatically had a red dot site. In this game, there are guns that support the red dot site,. But it's a separate attachment that you need to buy from the vendor and it only works on certain guns. I wish they would have just given all the guns red dots because it felt so freaking good the first time around.
