Trump's Uncommittedness on Taiwan
Trump will not call Putin a war criminal and Trump has a very personal grudge against Zelensky. From a Ukrainian perspective the results re-election would be pretty disastrous. I am pretty sure are hanging in there hoping that if they can just keep this war going into late 2024, they may be rescued by a change in American domestic politics. It's worth remembering how very uncommitted Trump has always been on the issue of Taiwan.
