The Pantera Song Walk

The band's song walk appears briefly in the film Sonic the Hedgehog 2, which I rented for $20. When Jim Carrey takes control of the giant robot and starts reaping havoc, he plays his world domination playlist and it's walk by Pantera. And my question for you is did Jim Carrey personally pick Pantera for that scene? Yes or no? A lot of their music was a lot like cemetery gates. You know, it was about the the mortality of existence.
